This report contains data relating to cancer in adolescents and young adults in Ireland between 1994 and 2008. Cancer is uncommon in adolescents and young adults. In 1994-2008, cancers in individuals aged 15-19 made up 0.4% of all registered cancers (including non-invasive types), and 1.3% in those aged 20-24.
