Cancer Data Registrar (Permanent full-time)

The National Cancer Registry currently has a vacancy for a permanent full-time Cancer Data Registrar. The person appointed will have responsibility for identifying, coding and recording all newly diagnosed cancer cases in their designated area. Applicants must hold a recognised general nurses qualification. At least 1 years post nursing qualification experience is essential and some experience in oncology or cancer coding is desirable. A full clean driving licence and own transport as well as familiarity with the use of personal computers for data entry, word processing and electronic communications is essential.

The post will be based in St James’s Hospital in Dublin.

Salary: Department of Health staff nurse salary scale will apply.
