Data Protection Officer - (Permanent half-time/18.5 hours per week)

The National Cancer Registry currently has a vacancy for a permanent half-time Data Protection Officer. The primary function of this post is to ensure compliance obligations are met in relation to data protection. The successful candidate will report to the NCRI Board for all matters relating to data protection.The successful candidate must have a relevant professional/third level qualification or be qualified by experience. A qualification in data protection together with demonstrable expert knowledge of data protection law and practices is highly desirable.

This post will be based at the National Cancer Registry in Cork. Salary will be in accordance with Department of Health grade VII salary scale: (€48,979 - €63,671). This salary will be pro-rata for half-time.
