We have established an Advisory Council for the National Cancer Registry. The purpose of the Advisory Council is to offer advice and to bring challenge to the NCRI in delivering on its Strategic Plan, the implementation of the recommendations of the Scoping Inquiry into CervicalCheck report and the NCRI’s implementation of National Cancer Strategy. The Advisory Council will also provide key links to other groups and communities who are implicit to the optimal delivery of the NCRI’s activities. Key stakeholders were engaged and asked to nominate suitable council members. The 13 members represent expertise from across the sector including representatives with relevant medical specialities, public health experts, research professionals, patient advocates, and cancer nursing.
