CERVIVA (www.cerviva.ie) [6] is a highly successful health service research consortium in the area of cervical screening and human papillomavirus (HPV) infection. CERVIVA 2 aims to build on that success and conduct further research in cervical screening and, for the first time in Ireland, other cancers linked to HPV.
The CERVIVA 2- research programme, which has been funded by a Collaborative Applied Research Group award from the Health Research Board, includes four workpackages:
The National Cancer Registry is leading workpackages 2 and 4.
