EU Pancreas: An integrated European platform for pancreas cancer research: from basic science to clinical and public health interventions for a rare disease is a European Union COST Action, coordinated by Dr Nuria Malats of CNIO, the Spanish National Cancer Research Centre. The action brings together a network of researchers from across Europe who have an interest in pancreatic cancer.

The action, which will run from 2012 until 2017, has established groups working in four priority areas:

Working group 1: Harmonization of research tools 

Working group 2: Integration of omics data

Working group 3: Translational research

Working group 4: Management of patients with  pancreatic adenocarcinoma
