Functions and public services provided or to be provided

The NCR provides information to the general public on cancer incidence and mortality. This information can be downloaded from the NCR website by clicking on the relevant links below. Cancer factsheets are also provided for download. These are a useful one page summary of statistics for a particular cancer, including the number of new cases diagnosed per year and the mortality rate for cancer in Ireland.

2. Details of any fees or charges for availing of public services:
   • Charges of €100 per hour will apply (in the case of commercial companies) for requests for information that is not routinely published by NCR in reports or which is not available on the NCR website and where this would require substantial work to extract or prepare.

3. Publications of the NCR which are prepared on a commercial basis
   • The NCR does not routinely prepare publications on a commercial basis.
