We have evaluated the quality of the data held in the National Cancer Registry.  Where possible we have compared the quality to that of other registries.  Our report found that data quality and completeness of case ascertainment levels at the Registry are high.  Completeness of case ascertainment of all invasive cancers (excluding non-melanoma skin cancer) is estimated to be 97%.
