This report provides an overview of cancers of the kidney, ureter and bladder in Ireland diagnosed between 1994 and 2009. On average, 466 cancers of bladder, 341 of kidney and 24 of renal pelvis and ureter was diagnosed annually. Cancers at all sites were more common in men than in women, with approximately two-thirds of all urinary cancers diagnosed in men.
