Sarah Abbott is Group Chief People Officer at Carbery Group and a member of the Group’s executive leadership team, with extensive international experience in business transformation, organisational strategy and leadership.

Sarah’s career spans a number of major global organisations, including Apple, Dell and EMC, where she gained significant experience of organisational and talent transformation in complex, international businesses. Earlier in her career, she worked with Ernst & Young, Musgrave and Morgan McKinley, and she has also led her own consultancy practice.

Throughout her career, Sarah has worked closely with executive teams and senior leaders across multiple countries and cultures, helping organisations navigate significant periods of growth, transformation and change. Her experience encompasses strategy execution, leadership, organisational effectiveness, culture and talent, with a particular focus on translating business strategy into organisational capability.

Sarah brings to the Board of the National Cancer Registry Ireland extensive international executive experience, a strong understanding of organisational transformation, and a perspective shaped by working across diverse organisations, sectors and geographies.
