European Cancer Organisation: Time to Act Ireland

Prof Deirdre Murray, Director of the National Cancer Registry, was amongst the speakers at "Time To Act Cancer" a virtual event organized by the European Cancer Organization for World Cancer Day 2022. The Time To Act campaign TimeToActCancer.com  urges every country in Europe to achieve the continuation of cancer services to avoid the Covid-19 pandemic creating a new cancer epidemic in its wake. To this end, this awareness campaign was conceived and developed to ensure greater attention is focussed on cancer care services during the Covid-19 pandemic.
