The National Cancer Registry is running a recruitment campaign for a Head of Research & Analysis/Senior Lecturer UCC.
The successful candidate will play a key role within the NCRI, with responsibility for the overall strategic leadership and management of the NCRI Research and Analysis Department. The post-holder will be responsible for coordinating, managing, and delivering a high impact research and surveillance programme within the area of Cancer Epidemiology and consistent with the statutory and strategic aims of the organisation.
In addition, the post will incorporate a role as Senior Lecturer of Cancer Epidemiology in the School of Public Health at University College Cork. The post-holder will be expected to contribute to the consolidation and further development of the School of Public Health’s research activities, working as necessary with colleagues in cognate disciplines in the school and the wider University. The post holder will also be expected to undertake some teaching and supervisory activities at both undergraduate and postgraduate level and to also supervise a small number of postgraduate students.
