Ms Fiona Dwane

Data Integration Manager

Fiona graduated from UCC with a Bachelor of Arts in European Studies and went on to complete the Higher Diploma in Computer Science and the Diploma in Geographical Information Systems.

She manages the Data Integration team.  Duties include obtaining and processing electronic data from hospitals and other agencies, linkage of screening datasets, quality assurance of the Individual Health Identifier (IHI) seeding, and geocoding of primary addresses.

Fiona has extensive knowledge of data standardisation, record linkage and management of electronic data, as well as cancer and health coding systems.

 She is a member of the NCRI’s Senior Management Team and is the business lead for the NCRI on projects such as the implementation of the Individual Health Identifier and MedLIS. Fiona graduated from UCC with a Bachelor of Arts in European Studies and went on to complete the Higher Diploma in Computer Science and the Diploma in Geographical Information Systems.
