Dr Joe McDevitt

Joe joined the National Cancer Registry in 2009, having worked as a clinical drug trial co-ordinator within the pharmaceutical industry for 16 years in Ireland and the UK. His current role involves the interrogation of the Registry data to look for interesting trends in health services provision and the collation of periodic reports on specific cancers, e.g. lung, breast, colorectum and prostate. He holds a PhD in medical laboratory science from Trinity College Dublin and an MSc in medical statistics from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine.
