European Week Against Cancer 2025

The 25th - 31th May 2025 is European Week Against Cancer. The European Week Against Cancer is a flagship initiative led by the Association of European Cancer Leagues (ECL), bringing together cancer leagues, health advocates, civil society groups, and policymakers to raise awareness about the importance of cancer prevention and care. This week reminds us that addressing cancer means acting across the full spectrum, from prevention and early detection to digital health and research.
At the National Cancer Registry Ireland, we work on several European projects which bring together research, policy, digital health, and real-world solutions to improve cancer registration and make a lasting impact on cancer prevention.
